We are well into 2020, a year that has brought us the first global pandemic most of us have seen. But even in the midst of all the uncertainty and change, I can promise you that the CAC of Paris has worked tirelessly to ensure children in Lamar and Red River Counties have a safe place to come tell their story of abuse and get started on their path towards healing. This year has been challenging to say the least- year to date, we have seen an over 30% increase in children needing our help.
Child abuse is a hard reality to face- that is why we are so appreciative of the support you have given which allows us to provide the life-changing services children need as they go through a child abuse investigation.
Below you will find our 2019 Annual Report which highlights the important work we completed last year. You will also find a link to a survey on our website asking what your thoughts are regarding fundraising in 2021 and our annual fundraiser- The Sweetheart Soiree. We know fundraising may look different as we continue to adjust to our changing world, and we are interested to hear how we may ensure our services continue while making sure you feel safe in giving.
Through supporting the CAC, you are taking a stand for child abuse victims like Amy. Be sure to read Amy and her mom’s story in our Annual Report. Unfortunately, Amy is not alone - we served over 220 children last year and each of them had their own unique story to tell.
On behalf of the over 4,500 kids we have served, we thank you for your generosity and support, THANK YOU!
We are honored to share our annual reports with you because we know you care as much as we do about our vital mission and the children we serve. We hope you will take a moment to read our story and use it as a launch pad for increased engagement in the year to come.
